We harvest at the appropriate period of time to obtain high-quality coconuts and form into beautiful shapes and make it easy to use for consumers

As an experienced farmer, SOMEKCO harvests 8-month-old coconuts because this is the golden period of time when the coconuts are the most delicious and nutritious. We quickly transport coconuts to the processing plant and store them in a well-ventilated place.
The coconuts are cut out of the bunch and SOMEKCO selects qualified coconuts and cleans them before peeling to remove soil and microorganisms. A machine is used to remove the green shell and process the remaining defects on the coconuts.
After the shell is cut off, even some products have the fiber removed, and then the coconut is polished using an automatic polishing machine.
SOMEKCO uses a 2-in-1 shrink film cutting and applying system – auto cutting and application of shrink film for coconuts.
After being carefully packaged, the finished product will be packed into cartons of 9 or 12 fruits using an automatic stacking machine.
Finished products are inspected and transported to refrigerated containers whose temperature can be controlled and maintained at 1 – 4 degrees Celsius. We always check containers containing finished products before exporting to partners and consumers.
