The coconut material areas at SOMEKCO meet organic standards and achieve organic certification from the US, Europe, Korea, and Japan.
We come for each farmer household to introduce, persuade and instruct the conversion of farming to organic coconut. We accompany farmers in activities of training on Organic farming techniques, consulting and guidance on the selection of agricultural materials according to Organic standards, inspection throughout the coconut growing process to ensure quality and productivity, harvest and purchase at a higher price than regular coconut prices and ensure product consumption. In the past, farmers often faced two major difficulties: the first was the fluctuation of market prices; and the second was the infertile soil, drought and salinization, causing to sharp drop in productivity. SOMEKCO’s Organic coconut garden projects will be a solid foundation for the sustainable development of the local community.
